Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, known for his macho personality, recently revealed his emotional side during the launch of the 'Jai Maharashtra' channel while talking about the love that he has got from the state of Maharashtra.
Getting nostalgic about his youth, Dharmendra said, "When I was leaving for Mumbai, my doting mother had been very worried about whether the state and the city would accept me. Despite her apprehensions, Maharashtra has taken care of me like a mother would and I shall always be grateful to my 'Marathi mother' for the success that I have enjoyed."
Dharmendra will be next seen playing a con-man in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana 2', where he will share screen space with his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. The film, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, is slated to release on June 7 this year.
