Video of the "before" and "after" a stair lift service call to South Surrey (White Rock, BC) in Metro Vancouver. The chairlift is a Bison Bede Model 80, which Acorn Canada will no longer service. Acorn Canada sells, and repairs, their newer Model 180 which is an improved Model 80.curved stair lift. The stairlift's battery charger was found unplugged from the wall outlet. On the service person's arrival, there were no status codes nor any beeping when power was turned on. When the service person left, after using a Tekpower power supply to manually charge the Bison 80 stairlift battery, the status code was a "5" and the stairlift was moving, and the movable rail could go up and down. The Bison 80 uses Sanyo nicad batteries.
