While Aamir Khan’s latest release PK has been engulfed in various controversies, ever since its release, it seems they have just helped the movie to become the highest grossing Bollywood film. The film hit the theaters on December 19 and has earned Rs. 278.52 crore within just two weeks of its release. By collecting this whopping sum, the Rajkumar Hirani directed film has also broken records of Bollywood's highest grossers Dhoom 3 and Chennai Express, which have earned close to Rs. 265 cr and Rs. 258 cr respectively. The film has set the cash registers ringing and it seems that PK will become the first Bollywood film to enter the 300 crore club in the domestic market.
