KARACHI: Inspector General Sindh Police Allah Dino Khwaja has been sent on leaves in the wake of expected major reshuffle in the provincial police department, ARY News reported.

According to sources, additional IG Mushtaq Mehar has been given the charge of provincial police chief until further orders.

Mehar also has an additional charge of Research and Development of police department.

Recently, reports emerged that Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah requested the prime minister to appointed chief secretary on his recommendation.

And a few days letter the Cabinet Division issued a notification, saying, “Rizman Memon, a BS-21 officer of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) presently posted as Senior Member Board of Revenue, Government of Sindh is transferred and posted as Chief Secretary, Government of Sindh with immediate effect and until further orders”.
