Kabir Khan Refutes Rumours, Confirms Bajrangi Bhaijaan Will Release This Eid
While rumour mills were rife with reports that Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Bajrangi Bhaijaan won’t release on Eid this year, the film’s director Kabir Khan recently took to Twitter to rubbish the false reports.
Kabir posted on the micro-blogging site, “#BajrangiBhaijaan is definitely releasing this Eid... The media reports are rubbish.” Salman’s fans got so excited with the news that the hashtag #BBThisEid became one of the top trending topics on Twitter, on Monday.
Salman will be seen romancing his Bodyguard co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which revolves around the strained relations between India and Pakistan and it seems the poster of the upcoming film has been leaked!
The leaked poster shows Salman Khan dressed in black with scenes from the film shown in the background. Apart from Salman and Kareena, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will be seen playing a sly Pakistani politician in the film.
Reportedly, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is based on the love story of a Muslim man (played by Salman) and Hindu Brahmin woman (played by Kareena). The story also has a little Pakistani girl who crosses the border and lands in India, following which, the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ takes up the responsibility of reuniting her with her family in Pakistan.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is Salman’s second collaboration with Kabir Khan, with whom he had worked earlier in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, in which Salman had played a RAW agent.
‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is slated to release on Eid this year.
