This helps to improve the SUPER DUPER POLLIWOG skill: Prone swim with flutter kicks...keeping the head down all the way to the destination (whether it is the castle, the wall, the step, or the shoulders of an adult).
* The WHEELBARROW HOLD" improves: "Reaching Arms" and horizontal Swim Posture... PLUS, "Splashy Kicks".
* Do not allow them to reach their destination, unless both their arms are out-stretched.
* The, if they put their hands down on the platform shelf too much, and you want them to reach out to the bar, just reach to the other bar that is on the outside of the platform, not the center one.
* Also, teach them how to let go, turn, and push off the bar or the wall... and swim horizontally to a destination.
* Ginny is not allowing him to put his feet down on the shelf before landing with both arms on the bar.
* When sending Luke to the wall, she used her thumb on the back of his head, using firm (but gentle) pressure, to insist that he keep his head down, until his hands grabbed the wall.
* SEA MONKEY: describes the skill of pushing off the wall and turning to do a straight horizontal prone swim, rather than leaning back into a back float. SEA MONKEY, in this respect, is like doing an OPEN TURN... (common term to describe Breaststroke and Butterfly turns in competitive swimming.)
