Amitabh Bachchan's 'Kaalia' To Be Remade

The 1981 film Kaalia, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Pran and Amjad Khan, which became a hit because of the Big B's intense performance and dialogues, will soon be remade by the maker of the original flick, Tinu Anand.
Confirming the news, Anand said that he is working on the screenplay and wants to make the remake as intense as the original. The filmmaker however refused to disclose his wish list recarding the cast for the remake. Kaalia was a revenge drama about a village bumpkin, who ends up becoming an underworld don to avenge the murder of his brother.
