Rodrigo Duterte: Trump praises Philippines' deadly drug war

Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte said President-elect Donald Trump praised his war on drugs in which thousands have died. Duterte reportedly called Trump on Friday evening to congratulate him on his presidential victory. During the phone call, Trump wished the Philippines leader "success" on the controversial war on the drugs, according to Duterte. Since June, nearly 5,000 people have been killed due to the controversial crackdown. An aide to Duterte said Trump even invited him to the White House, butTrump's staff have yet to confirm.
