20th Century Fox used The Game Awards on Thursday evening to debut a clip from the upcoming “Assassin’s Creed” film. Titled ‘Carriage Chase’, the clip deals with a hostage rescue in the 15th Century Spain-set scenes
The film involves a revolutionary technology that unlocks genetic memories. Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor during the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael K. Williams co-star.
The clip confirms the reports that the flashback scenes are all subtitled, and sadly that the film utilises plenty of computer effects and fast editing – things that we had hoped would be restrained. “Assassin’s Creed” opens in cinemas on December 21st.
