SuperBowl half-time commercials 2009 for Dreamworks, Intel, and PepsiCo (SoBe Lifewater) used ColorCode 3-D and distributed 130 million ColorCode 3-D glasses to viewers throughout the US to transform their ordinary TVs to 3-D displays. It has been called the largest marketing event in history and there was even a "commercial before the commercial" encouraging viewers to pick up the ColorCode 3-D glasses at their nearest grocery store.
Monsters vs Aliens was the first 3-D movie released by Dreamworks.
NBC also aired a double episode of "Spy-fi" series Chuck in ColorCode 3-D the day after the Super Bowl.
