Bruno Smadja created the Mobile Film Festival in 2005. For the past decade the festival has been dedicated to discovering and supporting young directors by challenging them to create a film based on the unique idea of 1 Mobile, 1 Minute, 1 Film. In 2016, the Mobile Film Festival had 750 films submitted, 50 films in selection, and 17 million public views in 3 weeks.
