The industry response to AutoMobili-D has been tremendous and the world’s top automakers, suppliers and tech startups are eager to take Detroit’s global stage in front of thousands of journalists. As part of AutoMobili-D, a low-speed test pad within Planet M (Hall E) will allow companies to demonstrate autonomous technologies, such as park retrieval, park assist and object avoidance in a controlled setting. New this year, dynamic driving demonstrations will occur outside of Cobo Center’s walls as NAIAS will be staging an autonomous ride-and-drive for companies to showcase more advanced autonomous technologies. A one-mile closed road on Atwater Street along the Detroit River will serve as the track for these demonstrations.
Companies interested in participating in either the indoor test pad or outdoor test track, or for more information, please contact: Marla Wise at marla@fulkersongroup.com or call (586) 747-0068.
