A few days back, there had been reports that Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is gearing up to make Padmavati, a film about Sultan Alauddin Khilji's obsession for Queen Padmavati, has decided to sign up Hrithik Roshan instead of Ranveer Singh for the role of Khilji.
However, the light-eyed hunk, who was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus Mohenjo Daro, rubbished the reports and said that though he would love to work with Bhansali after Guzaarish, he is not replacing any actor at all. Meanwhile, a source from Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions asserted that Ranveer is very much on board for Padmavati and that he has not been replaced.
Ranveer will team up with girlfriend Deepika Padukone for the film, which will be shot on a grand scale.
