Diesel Ban Revoked

The seven month long ban on big diesel cars in Delhi has come to an end. The Supreme Court today withdrew the ban on registration of cars of 2000 cc and more that it had imposed after a surge in the pollution level in the national capital region. But it's not a full free hand for carmakers, there is an additional green cess that will be imposed on big diesel cars to compensate for environmental damage. ET NOW caught up with Vikram Kirloskar - vice chairman of Toyota Kirloskar, Mohan Parasaran - Counsel of Mercedes and Pravin Shah - President & Chief Executive of Automotive division of M&M to know more. Listen in.
