Yemeni forces backed by popular committees have fired a ballistic missile at a military base in Saudi Arabia.
The attack targeted the kingdom’s southern city of Najran. This is the latest in a series of missile attacks by Yemenis on Saudi bases over the past few weeks. Earlier, Yemeni forces killed at least 32 Saudi mercenaries in separate clashes in the southwestern province of Ma’rib. Over 90 others were also wounded. Yemenis have vowed to keep up their attacks on Saudi targets till the kingdom stops its relentless airstrikes on the impoverished nation. Nearly 9600 people including women and children have been killed in Saudi war on Yemen since March 2015.
