Canan Ercan Çelik is a senior business executive at Borusan Group. She walks us through her transitions as a child, mother and a senior business woman.
Canan Ercan Çelik started her professional career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as an independent auditor. After PwC, she joined Borusan Holding as Assistant Financial Controller, became the Director of the Finance department and rose in the ranks as one of the top executives responsible for Corporate Functions in the holding, namely, Finance, HR, IT, Corporate Communication, Risk Management, Corporate Secretary and Central Purchasing. In 2013, she assumed additional responsibilities as the General Secretary of Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation and Chairman of Borusan Danışmanlık. In addition to her board directorships in the Borusan Holding companies in industries like logistics and automotive, Canan is also active in NGOs, particularly in the areas of Sustainable Development and Ethics. She is a graduate of the Middle East Technical University.
