Sandrine Ramboux knew that if she was serious about making a positive difference, it was only a matter of actually taking the steps to make it happen. She saw a need in Turkey for a way to match professionals with opportunities to volunteer, and instead of wishing such a platform existed, she created that platform. Ramboux story shows that stepping away from a distinguished career to pursue social entrepreneurship isn’t a crazy idea at all.
Sandrine Ramboux is the Founder and Managing Director of C@rma, an innovative engagement platform for Turkish professionals. Prior to this, Ramboux worked in banking for 20 years in a variety of roles for companies such as ING and the Belgian Treasury.
