FAN Vs The Jungle Book : See Who WINS
Disney's 'The Jungle Book' continues to ride high despite facing tough competition from Sharukh Khan’s movie Fan. Even though SRK is winning praises from all corners for his stellar performance but Fan is having a disappointing run at the ticket windows. The film received a opening of Rs. 19.20 crores on Friday. However in spite of positive buzz it saw a decline in its collections at Rs 15.10 crores on Saturday, and then again picked up on Sunday with Rs. 17.75 crores. And then further it collected Rs. 6.05 crores on Monday. The total box office collection now stands at Rs. 58.40 crores. Whereas The Jungle Book has maintained it grip at the box office, and recorded the second highest opening film in India, after Akshay Kumar-starrer Airlift. 'The Jungle Book' is creating a history at the box office. In its Week 2 it collected Rs. 8.02 crores on Friday, Rs. 8.51 crores on Saturday, Rs. 10.67 crores on Sunday and Rs. 5.09 crores on Monday.
