Early Flight Movies: Power Dive w/Aerial Aviation (1941)

Power Dive soars through the sky with romance and aerial feats. Centering on test pilots of new aeronautical technology, the story follows two aviator brothers. Both are vying for the affections of one girl, the sensuous Jean Parker (Little Women). The film was produced by the fledgling Pine-Thomas Productions, who managed to piece together a top notch feature on a low budget, earning them an alliance with Paramount Pictures. Power Dive is beautifully shot, perfectly paced, and positively charming.
