Five Nights At Freddy's 2

Hi, it's James again, testing out "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." This is a follow-up to "Five Nights at Freddy's 1," which I reviewed a few weeks ago for our Halloween special. So this game's come out very quickly after the first game. I guess the developer is trying to cash in on Freddy mania before it dies the death, which ironically is probably what I'm going to be doing very shortly. So I've never played this game before, this version. So I'm going to dive in, and just bear with me because I'm kind of learning the ropes myself with this. So let's dive in and see what happens. As you remember, in the first game you start as a security guard who has to monitor these sort of weird animatronic creatures who sort of dwell in the restaurant. I'm guessing it is same kind of scenario this time, but we will see, so let's dive in. Oh, grand reopening of Freddy's. So I think that's bit a of a mistake. I wouldn't have done that. I'd have probably razed it to the ground if that were me, given what happened before. Okay. So here we are at 1st Night, very similar to last time. Let's have a look, see what the office is like this time. If you remember, last time you stationed in an office. Yes, it looks very, very similar. A little bit different, it could be a different office, actually. It's a bit tidier than the last one. Here you got the previous security guard again waffling on like he did in the last one. I think I'm just going to mute it and go solo. I guess he's just going to ramble on about how scary it is. So here we are. It looks like we've got the same kind of camera controls. Oo, hoo hoo, the camera controls as last time, so this is the CCTV. Looks like we've got some sort of cat this time. I'd recognize that bear anywhere, and is that the chicken, or . . . It might be the same chicken as last time. I think it's a female chicken, so a hen. That looks all right, and then I've noticed there's . . . ooh! What's this? What is this? I'm wearing some sort of bear mask now myself and I am snuffling. Why I am I doing this? This is very odd. Okay, it looks like we got the lights in hallway this side, and have we got one that side? Yes. If you remember, last time there was a door that could close. Now how do I close . . . how do I close the door? Use hold . . . press and hold Control to use the flashlight. Oh. Hello. So I'm actually in the corridor this time. Am I? Where are the buttons for the doors? This is a bit disconcerting. Perhaps there are no doors this time. Perhaps you just have to hammer them on the head or something if they come in. Anyway, I'm going to go back to my security footage. They're all still in there, and I guess you can flick around. Yeah, look, you can flick between the various cameras here. Oh, that's some music there. There we are, so . . . It looks a bit different, I have to say. There is an extra party room in this one. Oh, there are three party rooms, in fact. I guess they're expecting more customers in this one. Maybe the room is . . . ooh, is this one? Is this a new character possibly or is it just background furniture? Oh yeah, as you hear that interference, that's a bit scary. There's something flapping around there. Can you hear that noise? Let's go back in. Where were they, the . . . there they are. So in the last "Five Nights at Freddy's" there were four characters. I can only see three in this. Here, look, there's something flashing here. What does this mean? There's a red flashing warning light. I can't actually see anybody in here. Wind up music box, click and hold. Where is it? I can't see the music box, actually. There's some shuffling going on. Where I'm I? No, what's that noise? I don't like this. Where can I go? How do I get back to my own room? There we are. Lights, lights, flashlight control. I can hear this sort of strange nursery rhyme music. I don't know if that means that something's going to happen. No, my . . . How do I . . . I want to know how I close the door in the room. This is concerning me a lot. I'm not sure it's part of the game play or what. I'm going to hold the flashlight button. The music is not stopping. Oh my God. Oh God. Oh, that was scary. That was very, very scary. Oh goodness me. I'm sweating now. I'm not sure I like this game. I'm not sure I like this version of "Five Nights at Freddy's." I didn't like the way you can't close the door or that maybe you can, it's just not very clear. The characters seem a bit more gruesome. They were kind of cute in the last one, but that one I didn't like. It made me jump a lot. I don't know whether to go back in and play again. Maybe I'll give it another go later. But for now I'm just going to take it easy and have a bit of a rest, because that was not nice. Okay, well, I'm not sure if I can recommend "Five Nights at Freddy's 2." It looks very similar to the first one but probably a little bit scarier. The nursery rhyme music went on a bit longer and that kind of put me on edge, and then the final jump
