Very touching first hand account of The fall of Singapore to the Japanese Army and Jacks survival on the rail road.

It also accompanies a written account which is stored at the Manchester Imperial War Museum.

Interestingly in later life he went on to be a proud owner of Datsun Laurel, loved Nikon Cameras and appreciated all of my Japanese motorcycles, and loved meeting Japanese people.

Forgiveness was key, but he never forgot.
