Bengaluru/Chennai, Mar 27 (ANI): Special prayers, processions and holy masses are being held from midnight all over the nation on the occasion of Easter today. Easter is celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the central figure of Christianity, after crucifixion and death at Calvary on Good Friday. The day also signifies the culmination of 40 day lent period of fasting for Christians.
