The competition has reached such a level that the tension is visible on the face of Judge Gurus as well as the contestants. This episode showcases the evergreen romantic numbers from Bollywood. The first one to perform is Sahiti G. She presents an act on 'Kaanto Se Kheench Ke' confidently and smilingly. Her melodious singing makes Sanjay Leela Bhansali exclaim that it is her best performance till date. Nirmitee comes in full flow with their version of 'Chhod Do Aanchal'. They mix it with some Spanish and English lyrics along with their harmonies and make it sound a new song altogether. Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali give them a standing ovation. Aditya Narayan asks Ranjana if she likes anyone, so she reveals that she is in love with Shahid Kapoor. Aditya then teases her by putting on a Shahid Kapoor mask. Amit Jhadav performs on an extremely romantic number 'Meri Soni'. He gets appreciated for getting back his confidence which he was loosing in the previous performances. Deewana Group sets the stage on a blaze with their passionate singing on 'Dil Kya Kare'. Shahnwaz Khan sings a few lines for her pregnant wife to express his love for her. Geet Sagar performs an act on 'Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein'. He misses a beat at the beginning of the song and loses the confidence. His performance creates some tension among the Judge Gurus as they differ in their opinions. Seema Jha takes everyone with her soft performance on 'Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na'. Her outstanding singing makes her get standing ovation from Shreya Ghoshal. Sanjay Leela Bhansali kisses her on the forehead. Shreya Ghoshal sings a few lines of her favourite romantic song, 'Lag Ja Gale' in her melodic voice and sets a dreamy ambience. Sajda Sisters beautify the stage with their performance on 'Suno Sajna Papihe Ne'. The 63 year old, Kartar Singh sings a lovely 'Teri Pyari Pyari Surat Ko'. Aditya Narayan tries to tease him by asking him about his first romantic experience. The episode concludes with Seema Jha once again winning the performer of the week award for her impressive unfailing performances this week on Baras Ja Ae Badal and Tere Bina Jiya Jaye Na.

A singing show with a unique format that gives everyone a chance to showcase their talent. Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. Participants that make through the final selection will then be divided into three groups with each group headed by a mentor. Of this lot, the top 12 will be selected to participate in the Galas and prove their mettle to the entire nation

Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
