Young and Healthy – Paul and his Gang 2007
We see here the next generation of the Strandberg Family. Kiki and Paul’s daughter Angela, I guess she is about 12 now, is studying cornet as well but appears here singing and doing some tapdancing. I never heard this interesting tune called Young and Healthy. I believe it is a tune from the 42 Street New York Broadway show and was originally recorded in 1932 by Dick Robertson and his Harlem Wildcats. There is certainly a solid jazz future ahead for young Angela. Papa Paul on trumpet , Mama Marie Christine – Kiki on piano together with Lars-Erik Strom on clarinet, Dymitr Markiewicz on trombone, Denis Johnsson on banjo and Jonas Eilert on sousaphone.
