2016 MV AGUSTA BRUTALE 800 First Look - New styling and updated engine for the middleweight Brutale
  • 8 years ago
MV Agusta has announced a new Brutale 800 for 2016, with redesigned styling and updates to the engine to meet Euro 4 emissions standards. Some of the aesthetic changes include a double seat with concealed passenger handles, LED headlight and indicators and a new digital gauge package.
The engine is slightly less powerful, down from 125 horsepower to 116, but torque is up slightly to 62 foot-pounds. The eight-level traction control system remains, but the electronics package now incorporates a quickshifter that functions on upshifts as well as downshifts. A new frame has a 20mm-longer wheelbase, and trail increases from 95mm to 103.5mm. For the first time in an OEM application, the Brutale 800 is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires.
