Brussels airport attacker remains at large, massive manhunt underway

BRUSSELS — A massive manhunt is underway for a suspect who allegedly fled the Brussels Airport after a pair of explosions killed 14 people in the departure lounge.

Surveillance footage shows two of the three unidentified men pushing luggage trolleys moments before the blasts occurred.

The men were wearing black gloves that were allegedly used to conceal detonators for explosive devices. They reportedly carried out suicide attacks that shattered glass and collapsed ceilings at the airport.

The third suspect is thought have escaped the airport and allegedly left a nail bomb at the airport.

During a raid after the attacks, authorities found a nail bomb, chemical products and an Islamic State flat in a house in Brussels' Schaerbeek neighborhood.

Authorities were investigating whether the attacks were linked to the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, the sole survivor of the ten men who directly participated in the Paris attacks in November.
