After my exciting helicopter ride over Niagara Falls, literally an uplifting experience, I drove 10 minutes up the road and started exploring the Niagara Falls Butterfly Conservatory. More then 2000 brightly coloured exotic butterflies flit around a tropical conservatory, located on the grounds of the Niagara Falls Botanical Gardens. This excursion to a tropical paradise made for a perfect outing on a cold December day. Then on my drive along the Niagara Parkway I stopped at the Whirlpool Aero Car, a suspended cable car that crosses the Niagara River right above the treacherous Whirlpool Rapids, an attraction that has been enchanting tourists since 1916.
