This year alone, over 120,000 migrants left Turkish shores for nearby Greek Islands; many were Syrians. Most of the 2.5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey live outside refugee camps, in towns and cities across the country. In Istanbul, one-quarter of the city has become known as “Little Damascus.” Not everyone there is desperate to go farther into Europe. VOA's Dorian Jones reports.
