Freddie Freeman smashes an exploding baseball to reveal his baby's gender

Atlanta Braves' All-Star first baseman Freddie Freeman and his pregnant wife Chelsea hosted a gender reveal party this past Saturday with a fitting twist: she tossed him a ball with powder inside -- the color indicating boy or girl (watch video above).

Freeman gave the ball a solid smack and their gathered family and friends cheered. The exceptional hugger, Freeman, is due to squeeze his child for the first time in September.
