BJMP isn’t fit for pregnant women, says spokesman

The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) isn’t fit for pregnant women, Inspector Aris Villaester, BJMP spokesman, said Friday, Aug. 8, 2014. In an interview at the Sandiganbayan before the bail hearing of alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles, Villaester said they were working on measures that would make pregnant detainees, like Maria Torres, comfortable in their cells.
