Sahanai is the story of Gunjan, a singer. Her shows on radio earn her appreciation and huge fan following. One such fan, Udhhab, an NRI-Doc, falls in love with her; flies all the way from Dubai to Bhubaneswar only for her. Udhhab’s acquaintance, Kavya has always longed to marry him. She plays her evil cards to keep Udhhab away from Gunjan. However, destiny had other plans. Overcoming many hurdles, Udhhab and Gunjan tie the marital knot.
Post marriage, life isn’t the same for Gunjan though. From an acid attack by her step-sister to her husband’s kidnap, Gunjan has been going through the litmus test of life. It’s only her good-self that has given her the courage to stand against all odds. Shouldering the responsibility of her maternal house and in-laws, Gunjan is standing firm with a big heart filled with love.
