Meteor Streaks Across California Skies

A meteor burned up in the Earth's atmosphere over California on Thursday morning.

The event was captured by driver's dash cam in San Diego.

In the video, the "fireball" is clearly visible streaking across the sky in the early morning light.

According to the American Meteor Society, more than 110 witnesses reported a large blue-green fireball over Southern California on Thursday morning.
