Fitoor MOVIE REVIEW | Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor

Fitoor is a movie to watch out for, for its different take and is a Shakespearean kinda set up from Director Abhishek Kapoor. The actors have come out in different hues and one has to appreciate the musical ambience created by Amit Trivedi.

Noor played by Aditya Roy Kapoor has Firdaus played by Katrina Kaif as his muse. At an impressionable age of thirteen Noor is attracted to the world of a mercurial Begum played by Tabu who is incidentally the richest woman in town. The very young Noor falls in love with Firdaus who actually does not in any way match his likes and choices. Noor then moves to Delhi and tries to make a career and tries hard to be a part of the social circles in the city. He does all this for the sake of Firdaus and as is a usual Bollywood movie we have Begum plotting to retribute their fresh love.

Aditi Rao plays a younger Tabu and the characters have done their bit well and have also shaped up quite dramatically however the movie fails to touch the right chord of the audience. Therefore it lacks substance or the ability to rise up to the expectation of the film going public. We appreciate the
powerful acting of the cast and therefor give it three stars.
