Daman and Diu, Feb 05 (ANI): Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh on Friday visited Union Territory Daman and Diu for examining the work that is currently in progress and assured that the UT will be recognised as number one UT in coming days.He further said that efforts are made to promote tourism in the UT. He also said that in coming months, the process of developing green energy will be initiated and the only populace utilizing green energy would be from Daman and Diu. He added that he has sanctioned 114 posts in the department of coastal police with 33% reservation for women and the recruitment is in process.
