CONFUSED!! Do Koreans mean Yes 네 or No 아니요?!?

Hey guys! So when I first came to Korea I was always confused if someone meant YES or NO!! its kind of backwards from in English the way we use Yes and No! even when you see dramas the subtitles say no and yes backwards sometimes from what the character is saying!! ENJOY LOVE YA!!
