Me and Jack Hykaway went to Garbage Hill to film some BNSF action. We also got a bit of CP action too! Part 1: CP Altona Freight - 9:36 AM (0:07) CP 4512 - GP38-2 CP 2308 - GP20C-ECO While heading to Garbage Hill, I got stuck by a CP train at Wellington Crescent, so I took the opportunity to get a video of it! Not a great video, but its something. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: BNSF Approaching Westview Yard - 10:49 AM (4:36) BNSF 2694 - GP39-3 A full video of BNSF 2694 switching tracks pulling its freight down their tracks towards Westview Yard, taken from Garbage Hill. Its a very nice view! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 3: Entering Westview Yard - 10:56 AM (9:35) BNSF 2694 - GP39-3 After a long trip down their tracks, and CPs tracks, they finally make it into Westview Yard to drop off their cars. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 4: Dropping Off Their Cars - 10:59 AM (11:54) BNSF 2694 - GP39-3 After the brakeman throws the switch, they back the cars into the yard and push the other cars back to make room, then discouple. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 5: Going To The Industries - 11:04 AM (15:57) BNSF 2694 - GP39-3 After dropping off the cars in the yard, BNSF 2694 pulls the caboose north towards the industries that they serve. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 6: Leaving The Industries - 11:18 AM (17:21) BNSF 2694 - GP39-3 After picking up a pair of cars at the industries, BNSF 2694 pushes the caboose and pull two cars across the diamond at Spruce Street. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 7: CP Intermodal At Brookside Blvd - 12:41 PM (18:27) CP 9616 - AC44CW CP 8759 - ES44AC After the BNSF left, me and Jack decided to bike over Brookside Blvd on the CP Carberry Subdivision. After awhile, a slow intermodal finally came through. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 8: Short CP Intermodal At Weston Shops - 1:49 PM (26:26) CP 9616 - AC44CW CP 8759 - ES44AC Awhile after the train passed, me and Jack decided to part ways. He went home, while I decided to check out Weston Shops to see if anything was going on there. After a little while, the same power from the previous train pulled five double stacks from the intermodal terminal, which they later coupled to the train.
