Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 (Xbox 360) - Splash Hill Zone
- 8 yıl önce
Ive been waiting for this game ever since it was first announced, and can say this: I like what Ive seen. We finally have a game that does Sonic justice.\r
\r
This is me playing through Splash Hill Zone, the first area of the game, with all three acts and the first boss. Of course, I have to include commentary as well.\r
\r
I dont think the music is quite as good as the Genesis originals, but its pretty damn good. The boss themes pretty catchy. As for graphics, Sonic looks a little too.. glossy I guess is the word to use here, but its not nearly as bad as some people were complaining about. Overall, graphics are great.\r
\r
Controls are solid and responsive, and I like how they implemented the homing attack into the 2D gameplay. The only real complaint I have is that the homing attack tends to auto-target certain objects, so you might, say, intend to hit an enemy but you may end up hitting a spring. Still, its a minor complaint.\r
\r
I wasnt able to include a Special Stage in the video, but from screenshots that Ive seen, they seem to have brought back the Special Stages from Sonic 1. \r
\r
Overall, I think Sonic 4 is indeed the sequel that Sonic fans have been waiting so patiently for. I dont agree with the $14.99 price tag (Should have been $9.99), but I think it is worth it, short as it is. Sonic is back my friends, for real this time. It gets a thumbs up from me. Check it out. \r
\r
I might actually do a play-through for the rest of this game in the future.
