Kiran Rao Says Ship of Theseus is for a niche audience

As Kiran Rao presents Anand Gandhi's Ship of Theseus to Indian audiences, the director says that this film is for niche audiences only.
"It will appeal mainly to people who would other wise like to go to film festivals or music concerts. People who are not confined to consuming one kind of art form or cinema. Certainly it's a small audience compared to the weekend box office type of audience but I think they are growing. We will get a sense once the film releases to know how big our audience actually is. We cannot at any point compare ourselves with a big film because this one is niche", says Kiran.
