Smithy encounters Ryan Jones again and finds the battered corpse of his wife Connie in the boot of his car. As the murderer makes his getaway in the London Underground, it soon becomes clear he has a personal vendetta against the Sun Hill desk sergeant and plans further killings, working his way through Smithys address book - beginning with his mother Pauline. Smithy has to rely on Jack and Mickey, who lead a manhunt for the suspect, to keep his friends and family safe.
