▬▬▬▬▬▬ GAME INFORMATION ▬▬▬▬▬▬
From Wkipedia: Life Is Strange is an episodic interactive drama graphic adventure video game developed by Dontnod Entertainment, and published by Square Enix. The games plot focuses on Maxine Caulfield, a photography student who discovers that she has the ability to rewind time at any moment, leading her every choice to enact the butterfly effect.
After five years of absence, senior photography student Maxine Caulfield (voiced by Hannah Telle) returns to her hometown of Arcadia Bay, Oregon. As she reunites with her estranged best friend Chloe Price (voiced by Ashly Burch), she discovers that Chloes father had died the year Maxine left town. While Chloe was grieving her father, she found support in a girl named Rachel Amber, who later went missing under suspicious circumstances. Max and Chloe decide to investigate Rachels disappearance, and then make their way to unravel the citys hidden secrets.
The games prologue begins with Maxine Caulfield (Hannah Telle), thrown into the vision of a lighthouse destroyed by a swelling tornado. She awakes instantly to find herself in the middle of class. To restore her composure, she proceeds to the restroom. There, Max witnesses the murder of a girl. In a single, sudden effort, she rewinds time and is moved back into the classroom from before. Informed of the following outcome, she hurries off to rescue the girl, using her recently developed ability. It is revealed that the person Max saved was her childhood friend Chloe Price (Ashly Burch). The two reunite and then go for a walk to the same lighthouse she recognises from her nightmare. Shortly after, she is moved back into the nightmare. Max then reveals to Chloe her capacity to travel back in time. It is made known that what she thought was a dream is rather the reckoning of a future event, and the storm, an approaching disaster headed for the town.
In episode 4, Max arrives back at the present in a completely different alternate universe after changing the entire course of the original Life is Strange universe after saving Chloes father, William. Things are the same, yet different -- Max is now great friends with members of the Vortex Club including Victoria and Nathan, and Chloe is now disabled and wheelchair-bound.
Some of the most prominent gameplay features include:
► Ability to rewind time and alter choices, which may have both short- and long-term consequences
► Puzzle-solving via the aforementioned ability to rewind time
► Branching dialogue exchanges with teachers & students to gain insight into Blackwell Academy setting in the Life is Strange world
► Developing & maintaining relationships with NPCs based off your interactions
► Easter Egg optional photos if you explore hard enough!
This will be a full playthrough of Life is Strange Episode 4: Dark Room in 1080p60 (fps) with all cutscenes included on the PC version. I aim to be thorough to understand the story completely, although I am sure I will still miss some things!
