Video of a violent tornado moving into portions of Northern Illinois as a supercell thunderstorm matured and approached a surface warm frontal boundary. Increased shear allowed the tornado to touch down and become very large and potentially violent. Significant damage has been noted across much of Northern Illinois this evening.
