This vide was shot at the Irvington Street crossing in Westwood New Jersey.
The gates malfunction and activate too early. After the train crosses, The gates malfunction again and stay down for about 25 seconds before rising.
The Traffic Lights at the intersection are tied into the crossing signals. When they are active, all 4 ways get red lights.
Crossing Info:
Both Signals used to have WRRS 8 inch Lights. They were replaced a few years ago.
Signal on Right: 1 Union Metal cantilever holding 4 pairs of Safetran Lights. Both the Gate mechanism and mechanical bell come from WRRS.
Signal on Left: 3 pairs of Safetran lights. Both the Gate mechanism and mechanical bell come from WC Hayes.
This crossing also has its gates attached to separate poles.
This crossing is on the Pascack Valley line. The train is heading West toward Spring Valley NY.
