Fashion is the perfect medium to send any message and Purvi Doshi used it to highlight the importance of preservation of flora and fauna with her 'Sanrakshan.' Using only white mulmul for the collection, Purvi's look revolved around just rectangle fabrics that were transformed into amazingly draped garments. Purvi added traditional Aari embroidery that was worked into motifs featuring flowers, bugs, insects, plants and animals -- all considered endangered species. Purvi Doshi's collection was a strong fashionable reminder that plants and animals are needed to keep the human race alive.
