A ferocious lion was taking nap in the forest when a little mouse kept disturbing him by moving up and down his huge body. When the irritated lion got up to kill the little mouse, it pleaded to the king and asked for forgiveness. The mouse promised to help the king in difficult times. Laughing at the little mouse's gesture the lion decides to free it. Later one fine day, when the lion gets trapped in a hunter's net the mouse come to its rescue as promised. Thus, the moral of the story is that little friends may prove to be great friends.

एक छोटासा चुहा शेर के विशाल शरीर नीचे ले जाकर उसे परेशान कर रहा था और एक खूँखार शेर जंगल में झपकी ले रहा था. चिड़ा हुआ शेर छोटे चूहे मारने के लिए उठ गया है, जब वह राजा के पास पाया गया और माफी माँगी. चूहे ने मुश्किल समय में राजा की मदद करने का वादा किया. छोटेसे चूहे पर हंसता शेर यह मुक्त करने के लिए फैसला किया. बाद में शेर के शिकारी के जाल में फँस जाता है और चूहा उसकी मदत करता है। शेर कोई आज़ाद कराता है। इस प्रकार, कहानी का नैतिक छोटे दोस्तों महान दोस्त साबित हो सकता है.कहानी से ये निकर्ष निकालता है की: किसी को भी कम नहीं समजना चाहिए।
