Syrian Family Escapes from Raqqa and Tells of Life in the 'ISIL Capital'

A Syrian family described their ordeal of living in Raqqah under the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), speaking to RT Arabic on December 27 after escaping to Homs. The family had moved to Raqqah from the city of Deir al-Zour, in order to escape the fighting between the Syrian army and anti-government forces.
