Introducing Variation #6, from A Virtual Music Box. I did it once before in this suite of music box variations, and here I have done it again. I have been somewhat influenced by the "Russian Dance" theme; I can't explain why, exactly, but it is what it is. This one could almost be used as the background to a busy city montage (in Russia!) I have also returned a second time, to the key of Bb. Each orchestral instrument loves a particular key; the horns love Bb and F, the clarinets like Bb, while singers like G. The music box doesn't complain. It will play in any key! Variation #7 is quickly coming up next. Humbly, D.Barch.
