Despite some help from his dad, a tagliatelle tragedy leaves Giovanni with Parmesan on his face. Foodie Becky is less than impressed with Giovanni's dishes and it goes from bad to worse when he attempts to serve his homemade pasta. But poor food doesn't deter a romantic Rob from popping the question to Petrina. And in a final attempt to bag the grand, Giovanni invites an opera singer to impress his guests.
