Congratulations Carissa Moore | 2015 Women's Surfing World Champion

Congratulations, Carissa Moore, you’ve done it again. Moore was the youngest ever women’s world champ in 2011, when she was only 18. She backed it up in 2013 with her second world title trophy, and here we are in 2015, crowning her again, for the third time.

Moore’s surfing doesn’t ask for your attention, it demands it, and it demanded it so that the girls could return to Hawaii for the final contest of the year. So that Moore could make history by dominating en route to her third world title, and so that one proud father could chair his daughter to the stage and watch her collect No. 3.

In the video above, you’ll see glimpses of the lifelong bond Moore and her father have forged over surfing, along with images proving how great it is having a parent who's also your biggest fan. Moore is your 2015 women’s world champ, and we, along with her dad, couldn’t be prouder. Congrats, Carissa, and cheers to you too, Mr. Moore.
