373k Euro Demolition: Thermal power cooling tower blown to bits in Spain

The demolition of a cooling tower, used for thermal power generation, took place in Puertollano, an industrial city in province of Ciudad Real. The tower, owned by Viesgo, generated and distributed electricity. It had a height of 122.5 meters. The demolition cost €373,900. The area affected by the demolition is less than a kilometer, with the exclusion zone being 300 meters around the tower.
