The cast of Deaf West Theatre's Spring Awakening revival on Broadway perform "Touch Me" on 'Late Night' on Nov 23, 2015. Half of the cast in this show are deaf and have counterpart musicians who sing for them/act as their alter-egos. The entire show is performed simultaneously in spoken English and American Sign Language, with ASL incorporated into the choreography (by Spencer Liff), and the results are stunning as you can see, directed by Michael Arden. This show is pure magic and the rest of the world needs to see it..! And finally we have some good camerawork that focuses on the deaf actors in this clip! Cast members featured in this video: Austin McKenzie as Melchior, Sandra Mae Frank as Wendla, Daniel Durant as Moritz, Katie Boeck. Krysta Rodriguez, Alex Boniello, Daniel Durant, Daniel David Stewart, Miles Barbee, Lauren Luiz, Ali Stroker, Amelia Hensley, Treshelle Edmond, Alex Winters, Sean Grandillo, Josh Castille, Alex Wyse, Kathryn Gallagher, and of course living legend Marlee Matlin introducing them in the beginning.
